So, I thought these were pretty decent for YA books. (The last YA's I got were aaaaaaages ago, took place just after Jedi, something about the prophets of the dark side...blech...) I like the first one, plain ol' Jedi Quest rather a lot...the whole bit about Anakin going to build his first real lightsaber and the visions both he and Obi Wan had. I guess the only thing I thought was weak... and this is probably because it's a kids book... is Krayn's death scene. It could have been more intense, more in Anakin's head. But again, it is meant for kids, they couldn't get too psychotic, I guess! -Lala

Ew...Jedi Prince series (Phrophets of the Dark Side)...they were bad books!!! Nothingn like these JA books...Jude Watson is an awesome writer!!! She really builds strong characters. I did like the plain JQ too...Siri as Zora!!!

In 1 I liked how we meet all of his 'friends' & 'rivals' who are in the rest of the series...and in Last of The Jedi (Ferus). I think it's great how she builds the characters to apprear in through out all of her series she writes(some make quest appearences in JA & JQ.).

Yeah, the characters are strong and consistant. Especially those of Obi-Wan and Anakin... she really nailed them

I could only find the first two of the numbered series books at the local B&N. I'll have to order the rest of them I guess.

kinda cool how she introduced Granta Omega...in the disguise!!! They didn't know who he was until they had past him. Neat how he turns out to have Offworld too..

I just got back from work.
I absolutely ADORE the JA and JQ books. I am sad I sold mine, but I wills lowly accumulate them again over time.
Jude Watson defintely nailed the characters. She shows some depth to Anakin which was not present in the movies.

I did not like how Zan Arbor kept popping up thorugh both series. It was getting annoying. I wanted to see some new characters. but I did like Zan Arbor's evil genius

Still waiting to hear from the hospital clinic... I'm feeling fine albeit stressed to the max as you can imagine. I was sure hoping my books would go higher, butthe last set of JA books I saw right before I posted mine went for like $130 for just the JA, so I figuredd $200 was about what to expect.
Anyways!
