Ok...I know wthis series is like eight years old...but in my quest to start at the beginning and read all of the books, I've decided that I can't pass it over!
Has anybody else read it? It's a 12 book series (juvenile books...like JA). It's actually pretty good! Very educational for kids and not written too bad. It keeps my interest...it's kinds like SW meets Scooby-Doo...interesting, huh?

Oh, I've read a couple; 'The Nightmare Machine' and 'Spore'.
They're about a pair of siblings, Tash and...oh, I forgot the boy's name...but their last name is Andrasta or something. They live with a shape-shifter 'uncle' Hoole and are survivors from Alderaan. Tash wants desperately to become a Jedi but doesn't know if she really has any Force sensitivity. The boy is just a fun-loving guy and always playing pranks on his sister. If I remember correctly, they are rescued at one point by Luke. They also meet up with Lando. I think besides the two I've read, there's 'Swarm', 'The Hunger', 'Ghost of the Jedi'...I forgot about the rest. Anyway, I still want to read the others. I first got into those years and years ago, right around the time I got into the YJK books.
They're really good children's Sci-Fi/mystery books. I love 'em!
Hammerhead: Your uncle will not fit. Tash: MAKE him fit!

Tash: MAKE him fit! Yup...Zak & Tash Arranda & Uncle Hoole. They keep 'stumbling' into Imperial project 'Starscream' and foiling the plots! Kinda Scooby-Dooish!!! There is a bit of horror/gore mixed in with SW mixed in with cameos with many main characters...even Thrawn
