Got Obsession #1. Pretty good. It's the first of five parts that is a direct lead-in to Ep. 3

Anyone know where to buy back issues of comic books, or is it just pot luck... like who has what left over?
I got republic 71 today, and I realized I missed 70.
Also I looked all over for Clone Wars #5 but nobody even carries graphic novels around here... not even the big bookstores. The guy at HeroTown didn't even know what I was talking about, and that's a comic book store.
I finally ordered it from Amazon, but they say it'll ship on Dec 21st. Yuk, I have to wait!
Yes a Jedi should have patience... but I want my comic book gosh-darnit!

Oh, and Obsession is great! Cool how Anakin is the sensible one here, while Obi-Wan is acting like he's out for blood.

Hmmm... is there a Waldenbooks around you anywhere? They are pretty good at having the graphic novels in stock, even my lowly store 30 miles away from here.
Sorry I can't help you much with back issues. I am just starting to get into the comics myself. We have asmall bookstore/Hallmark card store near the JCP where I work and I used to go tehre and read all the comix while my Mom was getting her hair done. But now since she isn't here anymore, I don't get a chance to read them all.

No Waldenbooks... there used to be one in the mall near me but they closed when Borders came around the corner.
With back issues, it seems to be pot luck as to what they'll have... so far that's the way the the comic shops are around here. They always say, Nope, just what we have on the shelf. I guess I'll just need to make a list of what I'm missing and be on the lookout.
Thanks

Finally got Clone Wars 5... not much of a wait after all. It's pretty good, although I don't care for the artwork in the last story. Looks almost like anime, but I'm not sure if it is. I like anime mind you, but NOT for Star Wars.

My only complaint... they're too short!

Vader’s arrival could not have come at a worse time for the President, who is fending off attempts on his life—and business offers from a dangerous quarter. But even the President’s cool reptilian intellect can’t guess at the real reasons for Vader’s visit, or the depths at which the Dark Lord’s machinations run…
