Kind of like NJO books series, some in hardback and some in paperback.
"The only solid detail I can give you now is that within the 18 books, 9 will form a series (I should note that Sue originally used the word trilogy, not series, but soon corrected herself - Mike) set in the Old Republic era, somewhere between 1,000 and 4,000 years before SW: ANH. There will be one hardcover and 2 mass market paperbacks per year in the series (I'll give you the dates in a later post), and we're hoping to get three authors to write the entire series."

Oh, yes. I've always been deeply interested in the Old Republic; it would be great to see novels dealing with the height of the Sith Empire, the rise of the Republic as a formidable political, and the origin of the Jedi and how they came to be the beacons of hope and justice within the young Republic.
