looks around .... hey....this is new.....
Of the Star Wars novels you have read... Which is your favorite?
I have to say that my favorite(s) are the Han Solo Trilogy.. "The Paradise Snare" , "The Hutt Gambit" and "Rebel Dawn".
I truly enjoyed reading them, you met a lot of characters in those novels...Chewbacca, Bob Fett, Lando Calrissian....and of course Bria Tharen. You see the beginning of the Rebel Alliance and what makes Han Solo tick....Han has always been my favorite character.
My least favorite (so far) was "The Crystal Star" Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz BORING!!!

I really like the Rogue Squadron series by Michael Stackpole...and then Timothy Zahn's with Mara Jade in them - the two later ones, I can't remember the names.

I'd have to say Heir to the Empire, 'cause it's the only one I've managed to sneak past my mom. (And I haven't even finished it yet.) I wanna read the Han Solo trilogy though. As you can tell from the pic, he's my favorite character, too.

So, you like the new forum, huh?;D Everyone has been yapping about the Jedi Apprentice series and it looks like we got Schph hooked now, so I figured the books needed their own forum.
I haven't read any of those, but I hear the Thrawn Trilogy is great! I read the Jedi Apprentice and the Jedi Quest series. They are really good! I also read the Junior novelization of Shadows of the Empire-- too lazy to read the 'grown up' version! I really enjoyed that also.

In their own right....they are all pretty great. I had always resisted reading the novels...cannon and all that. But on a flight from Utah I decided to give one a try...it was Truce At Bakura....from then on I was hooked. It is your dose of Star Wars between movies...and come to think of it, after Episode III it will be your only dose of Star Wars except for re-visiting all of the movies.
Yes...you have me hooked on Jedi Quest and Jedi Apprentice...they are great. Jedi Quest is really giving me insight on Obi-Wan and Anakin's relationship and I can't wait to get into the Jedi Apprentice series...they await!!.

Well, it better be there tomorrow, my patience has run low. But, As Obi Wan would tell Anakin, "try and meditate, clear your mind".

Glad I haven't had time to go and try to find it yet.
I did go on Amazon and found all of the missing Jedi Apprentice novels I needed from one dealer...all used...so I got them cheaper. As soon as I get my hands on those...I can actually start the seriers.
Right now I am also trying to read the Lando Calrissian triliogy....it is not too good so I have been putting it aside to read the Jedi Quest books...it is really hard to find the time...
Plus I have been busy writing my own in the Roleplay part of the board-(ha ha) wish I had a little more imagination...

Yeah, The Han Solo trilogy is way better than the Lando trio, but even those have their moments. I GOT Quest 3 last night, and finished last night too! It was rather better than the first two, so maybe she's getting the hang of this pair. I'll probably re- read a few of the novels, I'll do that when I can't find anything new to read, I'm a junkie to the printed word.
