I posted that in a bit of a hurry last night, it was closing time. I agree, I thought there was a lot more depth in the characters & their interactions with each other. Good stuff between Ani and Ferus, not just the usual sniping, funny to see things from Ferus viewpoint, and Ferus from Obi Wan's a bit. And then there's Mace, heehee!

Well, Jedi Quest #9 is out in bookstore now, I finally got a chance to go pick it up, so I'll finish it by tommorow & tell you more then. So far, it looks pretty good, but have only read a few pages.

Man that ticks me off. I was at my bookstore yesterday and they didn't have it out so I figured it wasn't out yet (I knew it was coming out in July). Now I won't get back thee for probably at least 2 weeks or more...

I am still holding off reading the series until all of them are out...but it is tough.....I keep wanting to start them...
But I have been able to catch up on some of the other SW books that I have had for quite a while....
right now I am into the "Bounty Hunter Wars" trilogy...

I think I will pick up the MedStar book this week, if I'm granted a little time, it's a PB and I think it might be interesting, and won't strain the budget. I really did think this was the best of the Quest so far, a few good plot twists, and a few old friends re-appear.

Finally got JQ9. I thought it was a little slow at first, but it picked up quickly. One morebook to go... I hope they do some other sort of young adult series after Ep. 3... maybe Vader like they did with Boba

I really hope they continue this age group, it's a favourite w/ my nephews, and myself as well. I really did enjoy the Med Star book, some really nice plot twists there.

Well, Jedi Quest #10 is in bookstores now, as well as MedStar#2 so I picked them both up, not sure that i'll get to read both of them before the Halloween season hits for real, 'cos as of Monday it's fulltime at the store until we close on Oct. 31st. I think we're gonna get killed if what's been coming in already is anything to go by. I'll probably finish Quest before tommorow night, but I'll have to try and read MedStar on the bus & just whenever I can stay awake a few minutes to read at night, so, that might take awhile.

And an update, JQ#10 is really quite good, I think the best of the series so far. Some very interesting plot turns going on. Ani, Ferus, Tru & Darria are on a very important & dangerous mission w/ their Jedi masters.
