I just read #7 Moment of Truth. I loved it. Loved the ending...Wont tell too much for those who intend on reading it. And yes...finally the Gundark story finally told.
WOW.. a great read!

Rats....I went to buy it....and it wasn't there...but that is ok.....I am going to read the Jedi Quest series front to back as soon as I finish the New Jedi Order series...I am on "Reunion" right now...."Final Prophecy" is already waiting....and I think the last in that series comes out in November....I should be ready for it....I have been flying through the NJO since "Traitor"....am really looking forward to the Quest series....
does anyone know if the "Jedi Apprentice" series is done with? I know that they haven't come out with any new ones...but I wonder if it is all done with....

I'm afraid the Jedi Apprentice is all over. I wish there was more to come, but from what I understand they are all released. So far Jedi Apprentice is my favorite series, but I haven't started New Jedi Order.

Tek, any good B&N or Borders should have them all or you can get them from Scholastic Books who are the publishers.

I think Jedi Quest is a better series because it gives you for one a better look into what exactly turns Anakin, I mean major things happen in the films but it's nice to see other little spots.
Also not everybook ends with a happy ending. Apprentices' books had that a lot so it's nice to see soem not every good mission ends well.
It's also nice to see Obi-Wan's thoughts now that he's the mentor, we've seen them as a Padawan and I laugh sometimes cause in a way a lot of how he was like at 16 or so is almost exactly how Anakin is. It's just Obi-Wan seems to forget that.
Though I miss the warmness Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had it's still nice to read about how his legacy affects both Anakin and Obi-Wan.
Anyone else noticied in these books though....Anakin gets captured a lot lol.

Greetings Ky-Wan.....welcome to the Jedi Assembly!
I look forward to reading the Jedi Quest series...I bought them...I just have not gotten around to reading them....I think that the series will really give new insight into the final battle in Episode 3....and even to the fight in "A New Hope" where Anakin (Darth Vader) "kills" Obi-Wan....

Waaahhhh Just found out there are only going to be 3 more JQ books. The next is due out in March, then July and probably the last one by the end of next year. I guess they are trying to get them finished up by Ep. 3, but the Jedi Apprentice series lasted longer.

Yes the comics, books and others always help make the performances int he films seem deeper to me. The Gundark thing. Well now that we know what happens you appreciate the whole scene more, or at least I do. As well after you read all the comics and books with Qui-Gon it makes his death harder to watch in a way and you see all those years of freindship, fights and happiness flash in front of Obi-Wan and the whole yell seems so much more a live and of course the power he fights Darth Maul with.

Too true......
the Master and Padawan relationship is special....and really special for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan once you know their history.....

Jedi Quest #8 is quite likely the best of the series to date, really good, with interesting developements.
