Now do Jedi have corrective eyewear, or do I have to invest in blasted contact lenses?
I would rather just keep my glasses if it were me since I can't afford the expense and contacts are very impractical for me.

They probably have some sort of Bacta eye drops that correct whatever vision problems someone has.

I hear you Lazlo. I canot wear contacts anymore due to the fact that contacts ruined my eyes back in my youth. My eyes are now too dry to accept contacts.

I use detactable sunglasses over my glasseto help disguise them. I've seen aliens and humans in some rp books sporting some manner of sunglasses.

well if you think of the video games, eye problems didn't really matter to a jedi/sith. In the KOTORII game (Knights Of The Old RepublicII) there is a character that is blind but still sees with the force. now as for your problem, I don't think glasses would matter, even if your trying to be as movie like as you can. Yah and Bacta eye drops would be pretty kool. And my bro wears his glasses with his costume in public and no one even notices. I couldn't wear contacts if my life depended on it, the thought of sticking something basically in my eye always scared me, And I always thought I would lose them in my eye lids

We certainly don't see any Jedi in the films wearing glasses. However, most of us needing glasses just wear them with our costumes. I usually remember to remove mine for photos.
Contacts don't correct my vision so I'm stuck with glasses.
It would certainly enhance the look to have them but I wouldn't suggest it unless you want them anyway

I have never seen a Jedi with glasses... but podracing goggles could be canon... right? Or I could just wear a nice set of electrobinoculars. Bacta drops would be good... or maybe they just all have laser surgery...

I suppose I could get my eyes nuked. I guess I'm just used to my glasses.

Laser surgery.
That would be appropriate!

Tried laser surgery...when LASIK was first introduced.
Now I'm resigned back to having to wear weaker glasses instead of coke bottles. But I still take them off for photos.
