[glow=Red,10,300][shadow=red,left,300]I'm going to decribe the situation in a couple words.
I'm VERY Poor
But I need two full jedi outfits,
Actually I would like to know what other peoples outfits cost.
If that is too expensive for me I would like some help to find a cheap solution.
and basically I will take the cost of any outfit and double it cause I need 2
Me and my bro are twins and we are going to be like twin jedii you get what I mean
If anyone has any patterns they would like to share or links they know of I would like to see em'.
we would like this for CIII but it doesn't matter.
thnx to any1 who will help.[/shadow][/glow]

If you haven't already, check out the links in the post called Jedi Costuming Sites. There is a lot of great information there. If this doesn't help PM me, I ended up with two patterns and would be glad to share one of them to you.

Jedi costumes can be done for very little at least to start, the boots & belts can get pricey, but the fabric parts can be done very well on a tight budget, 1st where are you? 2nd What size re you guys & how tall? 3rd, what style are you trying to do? There are some very inexpensive fabric options, a fav around here is called OSNABURG, it's an unbleached 100% cotton fabric, looks very Jedi, nat. tan. You can usually get it at Walmart's for $2. a yd, you'll need about 7 yds per costume for tunic, tabbards & obi, you can do under tunics from an unbleached muslin in a lt weight for about $1-2 a yard, you'll need about 5 yds. each for the undertunics. Pants, any tan/brown/beige type of docker/khaki pants will do well, or you can make simple pull on pants from the fabric you make the tunic from, docker type easier & cheap brand from Walmart/Target is very good, or thrift store too. Boots & belt are the real money holes, but try ebay or thrif store, belts are not to hard to make, simple tools & leather blanks from crafts store or Tandy type supplier. Gotta go, closing time here more tomorrow!

I see the fact that it isn't that hard but I just can't sew nor do I have a sewing machine and I don't got alot of money to send on one, CIII isn't cheap that is why I could only afford a 1 day pass , I went through some simple sewing stuff in school makiing pillows but that isn't enough enough for this plus I was sleeping through most of the class ;D and don;'t you work at a holloween shop of something?

[glow=red,10,300]thnx bro for replying for me but our price range is between $25-50 depening on how much we spend at CIII( and I think that we'll be owing money to ppl after this ;D. I got a post on how to make some obi-wan look-a-likes which I'm pretty fond of and they cost about $30-50 per pair. and All i need are patterns cause I like your idea and the rest is just lightsaber stuff which I have a design its the tools that are the problem.and I'm hoping CIII will give me a whole new idea will will be fun. but thnx for your post it really helps. that brings my list to lightsaber tools and patterns.[/glow]
