I'm getting ready to make another set of Jedi clothes for C3. I have a black set, a white and tan set and a dark red and black set. What should this set be? I was thinking about Qui Gon's but the dark pants are hard to come by. I even thought about a dark navy blue and black. Any input would be nice and appriciated!

Drawstring pants aren't that hard to make. That way you could just make them out of dark brown fabric, cotton or linen. I'm away from home and don't have my usual set of sewing links, but you can find a pattern for that, if needed. If you want to buy them in brown, www.devalifewear.com/ has them. They aren't Wallmart cheap, but they are very durable cotton clothes and will last far longer than anything from the Wallmart. I've had a jacket for about 10 years, washed weekly and still looks fine. www.devalifewear.com/scripts/store.exe?CategoryName=Pants&AOLHelp=42404be0.196.794.1&ServerName=www.devalifewear.comFreedom pants come in brown. Gusset pants do too and the gusset makes movement easier. Lotus pants have large pockets that might be covered by the tunic and wold be very useful.

Well, Dockers, Union Bay, D*ickies', Sears, KMart, WalMart, Gap, and deisel most likely make pants that are similar enough in style & fabric in brown that you should be able to find them without to much trouble, or you might get lucky & find a pair at your local thrift store.

I too have had a difficult time finding the dark brown pants. Sears used to make some in their own brand but they seem to be gone, maybe there wasn't enough call for them in my area. K-Mart used to carry them in Dickies brand but they too are gone. The only place I have found them is Wal-Mart, but not all of them. I have two pairs now and will more than likely get two more if I can find them in my size. I look each time I go to Wall-Mart. Good luck but don't give up........I have five Wal-Marts in my area and just like hunting for action figures I look each time I go until I find them.

To clarify....my links posted above are for very durable, cotton, dark brown pants.
Brown has been an "in" color for a while but it may be fading out, so to speak.
