Hey guys! At the recent Niagara Grape and Wine Parade I got some nice pics of me in my new costume, sans robe. Theres still a few tiny changes to be made but overall this is it. New boots, colours, texture everything Its funny the expressions Photographers get of you when you aren't paying attention...the last pic I look pretty funny! Also I have them in higher res for those interested Let me know what you think! First up is one with another member of my FanForce, she had an excellent Padme costume!

Thanks! Still a few modifications will happen, like the under cloth tabards (they need velcro) , but I love it, love the colours and textures, especially love my belt. Its a costume thats mine...no colours the same as other characters, no anything the same really...really even the boots which were BASED off of Obi-Wans are differnt in colour and style....so overall its a unique costume.

Wow! I really like the color of your inner tunic. And the belt is quite original. Nice job!

Yeah I found out the ahrd way to have cloth tabbords under leather. It can bleed.:-)
Those boots look nice. All those colors leaves room to expand wardrobewise. Mixing and matching. coooool.

Yep. For mine anyway. Mine slid off. maybe males haven't that problem.
Cloth ones probably make a good anchor for velcroing the leather tabbords to them. Then securing the cloth tabords to the over tunic.
That's what I'll do with my next set. Til then I'm glad raw silk washes nicely.:-)

Great look ... I found I needed to put velcro on the shoulders to keep the tabbords from sliding off.

Those pics are great. Your costume is amazing. All the different colors work well together. Makes me want to go looking for new material so I can mix and match.
You belt goes with it perfectly.
Looks like that parade was fun. i love the expressions on the peoples' faces in the background.

Wow... totally cool.
Love the boots... are they the motorcowboy ones? I've only seen the Qui-Gon version up close.

Thanks again guys I was surprised myself just how well all the colours went together, but I am happy, extrememly Leda, these boots are not Motorcowboy boots... Oh and the leather tabards are attached by velcro, I've found its the best to hold everything together Though if I was going to have strickly cloth tabards I would sew them on. If anyone is interested I can post links to the full Parade pics from the various albums online
