Just when you were beginning to wonder if I really was working on a costume... The rotoscoping is courtesy of the renowned Master, Kai Rhann Jerra, who has offered me his very selfless assistance all along the way. photobucket.com/albums/v465/LCrowe/

Those are really great pictures and a fantastic costume. I like the setting you chose to take the pics in. It adds to the affect. I love to see how everyone customizes the costumes in a different way. You color combination works really well. Thanks for sharring so many great pics.

Nothing new for me to tell you Laan. But I will say it again here. The costume, the park, the pics, all look fantastic. You did an excellent job in all the sewing. Master Jerra did a great job on the rs too. Everything looks awesome! Congratulations and welcome Master Kro.

Thanks, Jen-Ru. The color combination was a big step for me. I've never done that before. Jeffrek's colors were the inspiration for the design. And thanks, Toss, "I'm just a simple man..."

Many thanks, Xana and Syn-Kai, The setting is a state park near here. I've had it in mind for months. I think it would work for either SW or LOTR. You may not be able to tell but the lake is behind a very ancient looking stone dam and it's always reminded me of the lake on the western gate of Moria, the one with the watcher hiding in it. Xana, I know what you mean about the tendency to giggle. It was tough looking so serious with my wife as the photographer. We went on a weekday, first thing in the morning, in an effort to miss any park visitors--no dice. I think we encountered 4-5 groups of hikers in all. Everyone was very pleasant and did a great job of pretending I was in normal hiking attire. I'm sure they went home talking about "that strange guy wearing the Last of the Mohicans costume and holding that flashlight" or something like that.

LOL!
Well these are really great pictures Laan. Your costume is well done, and I like that strange flashlight! It looks like a Parks Saber. Is it?

Leda, yes it's a Parks Arc-wave. Several months back I told the story (somewhere in here) how after waiting for a couple of months for an Avenger saber to arrive, I found out it had been run over by something with a very wide tire tread, somewhere in transit from TX to here. I had to send it back because the emitter had been crushed, and waited several more weeks for the Arc-wave. It was a bummer, but it turned out well because it gave me a chance to actually hold the Avenger and compare it with my friend's Arc-wave and I decided to change models. It was just hard waiting twice! Xana, I just posted in that thread you suggested.

I will add my congratulations to the others. Very nice costume. I like the sloped tabbard ends. Thye make it stand out from the norm while still being perfectly with the look of the Jedi. Ive got a set like that based on the ones in KOTOR Phil

Thanks, Jeffrek, That was exactly why I did the slanted tabbards, and the color scheme. Thanks again for the idea! Laan

Thank you Kai for the comments. I had my location in mind for a very long time. Those sites you posted are fantastic! I especially like the first one, the "temple." I'd love to see some pics at both.
