Aren't the stretchies great...you see so little of the pants that it makes sense to have something comfortable...pouches are something I still need....I only have one...and it is just a red zipped thing that I use temporarily....it is just big enough to hold car keys and a pack of cigarettes, credit card and some money...that's about it...but then again...that's all one really needs...

Yep:-) All I need are the keys, money and some chewing gum. Thankfully the hotels now use card keys instead of metel ones.

I have 2 costumes. The first Obi-Wan Ep1 style, kinda. I need to add some more parts or redo it, cuz it came out weird. Basically, my mom and I got white muslin that she tea-dyed to a light tan-ish color. I used the muslin for the tunic, pants, tabard, and obi/sash. The cloak was a Obi-Wan Ep1 color brown (almost), but kinda heavy material, I don't remember what it was, exactly.
The second costume is the "dark" costume. I talked about it in the Jedi Robe thread under "accesorized robes". The entire costume is black cotton fabric (except the cloak, which was a stiff black fabric, a little heavier than the brown cloak fabric I used). This one was supposed to be Darth Maul style because I liked his uniform (scratch the fact that he was Sith). I explained in another post that the uniform's black color signifies my character's acceptance of her former darkness, so that's why I did it. The cloak has dark blue velvet trim on the sleeves and the hood, and that was just cuz I had alot of velvet left over from my prom dress. ;D
Add two pairs of boots (one brown, one black), two pairs of old leather gloves my aunt gave me (brown and black) and the costumes could be considered "complete". (There are still things to do to add to the costumes...)
My friend and I wore them to the Ep 2 premier, and both costumes are completely mine. The only thing that was hers was the Anakin Skywalker electronic lightsaber. Below is us without the cloaks...I have to find the picture with the both of us with the cloaks on.

Grrr *smacks computer* Why is it only me?! Hrm, they were working last night, try right-clicking on the the "x" where the pics should be and click "Show Picture". If that doesn't work, you might have to look for the first picture on my web-site, I don't have the second picture on my web-site. I uploaded it there in order to post it.

I see you have your pictures, and your avatar, hosted at Geocities...they stopped allowing hotlinking about three years ago.

Gr, I didn't realize that. Well, I'd see about linking off Yahoo Photo Album, but I don't have public albums, they're all private. (And if Geocities doesn't allow hyperlinking, then more than likely Yahoo doesn't since 3 years ago I think is about when Yahoo bought Geocities.) Gr.......

My costume is an Old republic/rise of the Empire era semi-traditional Garb, If that makes any sense.

I have old order garb, I LIKE their threads<G> They'er comfy, and perfect for me cuz I get so blasted cold. What's weird the layers of the Old Order garb work well for me even in the heat down in Florida. I have the right fabrics to get away with it and not suffer so badly.Everyone's costumes sound great. Hopefully pics are coming.

I have a current one I wear. All Black very ROTJ Luke looking. I alos have Leather pants and a leather vest that Ill wear with a cloak and black gloves a Sash and belt and I can pull of a kinda Mara thing. instead of the knee pads and hingaurd things I wear my paintball body armour. It works. I'm, sewing an Old republic one and also mixing and matching colors mostly under tunics and I really wanna make that green Tunic that Mara wears but I have to find a pattern for it. I think I'm going to Make Draxxsus a pink Jedi coustume as a Joke LOL long story!!!

My costume is still in the works. It is based on Obi-Wan in Ep I. However my belt looks like the handle to a canvas bag and my boot are walmart rubber mud boots. I am planning to go searching at the Army/Navy store soon for possible replacements. I have two different pair of khaki pants I wear. comes in handy when you camp out for 3 nights. I also have a cover up I can put over my tunic. As of now I have no robe. That is another one of the things I am working on. Here are two pics of me with different variations of my costume. In one I am with my friend Tiffany who I am hoping will join this group. She has an old Obi-Wan costume that she made the week before Episode I to wear with me to a costume contest a radio station had (The stormtooper won it). groups.msn.com/LongviewSW/linein2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=88By the way I am a bit sunburned in this pic from spending 3 days outside the theater. This was a few hours before start. I had switched to regular shoes since the rubber boots get hot. groups.msn.com/LongviewSW/costumes.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=147This is at the Walmart jedi training academy. The kids loved it when I showed up. I got a lot of pics from it. Tomorrow I plan on finishing my first lightsaber. I am using PVC pipe to make it. I am also working on a comlink and food pellets. There is always something else to add that is why it is so much fun. I also had an idea recently about adapting the pants. Use regular khakis, cut them off below the boot line, then sew the bootom half of leggings/stretchies to them. I'm not sure how well that would work, but since all the stitching would be hidden by the boot it should be fine. Just an idea I had and want to try once I am able to sacrifice a pair of my khakis

I love looking at the pictures...thanks for sharing....
I will recite our creedo...."your costume is never done"...lol.... I know mine isn't yet...well, my dark brown version is done...but I want to re-do my light version...the tunic is too short and I did a crummy job on the underarms (not that you really see that) and I just want to make it a little bigger over-all...not enough room in the shoulders for "agressive negotiations". ;D

Would you guys believe that I actually have all the parts to that promo Jedi Training Academy thing?! LOL! I can't even stand in it!!! I'll have to set up part of it or something and take a picture of me in costume standing by it (or squating in it). ;D
