I would like to request prayer for my mother-in-law. Her name is Judy and she went into more or less a diabetic coma Sunday. She is on a ventilator and a feeding tube. She has some brain stem activity and the hospital is doing more intensive tests tomorrow. Please keep her and my family in your prayers.

We'll be praying, too, Tanthos. Is she saved?

That's great, Tanthos! Thanks for responding, that lets us know better how to pray. My wife's grandmother recently died (very suddenly) of cancer. She had never let my wife or my brother-in-law (the only two members of my wife's family who are saved) speak to her about salvation--until she became sick. For weeks she asked many questions and heard the gospel, and my wife has a "95% certainty" that she received Christ before she died. It was a major spiritual battle, as you can imagine. My in-laws did everything they could to discourage my wife and her brother from witnessing to their grandmother, but God gave them several opportunities during the final few weeks. I will continue to pray for your mother-in-law.

The doctors have decided to remove my mother in law's oxygen mask. I know that sounds a little harsh..but it's best to help her passing. My wife and I appreciate all the prayers and kind words!! I will keep you all informed in the days to come......

I'm sorry to hear that, Tanthos, but again, I'm glad she's saved and also that her passing will be smoother. I'll still be praying.
