Greetings!
We have adopted an Active/Inactive membership standard for all official members of The Jedi Assembly.
The standards are as follows:
The Jedi Assembly Active and Inactive Memberships
An Active Member of the Jedi Assembly is a person who meets the following standards:
1. Meets all Jedi Assembly Jedi Code Requirements (i.e. has an approved Jedi costume, is over 18 years of age, etc) with approved membership
2. Maintains their membership profile by providing a current description of their costume with colors/fabrics used and having an active and current email address.
An “Inactive Member” in the Jedi Assembly is defined as a person who:
1. Does not have current contact information in their membership profile
2. Their profile picture or costuming information is outdated or inaccurate and a request has been made for them to update said information and no response has been received
3. Is a person who has requested to be placed on “Inactive Status”
An Active member may:
1. Hold a Council position or become an ORDER Master. One must have been an active member for at least one year’s time before holding that official position of authority.
2. Help Coordinate/Host “Official” Assembly fundraisers, conventions or gatherings.
3. Purchase “Official Jedi Assembly/Member Only” merchandise (i.e. T-shirts, biz cards, patches, etc)
4. Have their Jedi costume picture posted on www.TheJediAssembly.com in the members’ section.
5. Participate in “Official” Assembly activities (i.e. Charity Benefits, Fundraisers, Convention activities)
An Inactive Jedi Assembly member:
1. May NOT hold a position within the Assembly
2. May not coordinate Activities
3. May not purchase Assembly merchandise
4. Will not have their picture posted in the Assembly member’s section.
5. May not post pictures in the Gallery section
Minimum Activity Level Requirements
1. Maintain contact information/membership in individual profile on the Assembly website.
As a Jedi Assembly member, you MUST keep your e-mail address up to date in the membership database.
In the event that you disagree with your membership being placed into “Inactive” status, you must contact Cor-Al Gelkar at coralgelkar@thejediassembly.com for dispute assistance.
If you are an official member and you have been placed into Inactive status, you can be reactivated by simply emailing an updated, full length, well lit picture of your costume, without your Jedi Robe to Cor-Al Gelkar, updating your costume description with colors and fabrics used or updating your email address.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask a member of the Jedi Council
Thank you.
