Thanks for the feedback! I'm already thinking about a 2nd tunic for Dragon*Con and will be tweaking (of course!) my pattern, so this is very helpful.

Indeed, your tunic should suit your body, I tell you, one of the first tunics I made was Qui Gonn's style, on me it looked so bad I never wore it out of the house, on LN 6'5 inch frame it worked but on my 5ft and much stockier shape, disaster, to blocky and wrong proportions. Mine are more fitted and generally mid-thigh to ankle length.

Mine isn't too short or long, it seems shorter then it is cause it flares out on the sides due to it's cut like a komono and not the angles and then down cut that are used int he films. I'll try this in the future and get a longer one as well.

Nothing 'screen accurate' is going to fit me. They'er ALL too big. I had a proper sized buckle for an imperial uniform and the 501st said it was too big. Proper size of material, too small body. I found a buckle that's to scale for me and it looks right. I always did that with the jedi gear, made to fit my specs and comfort.
