I have a 10:00am appointment with my Jedi seamtress on Thursday and I'm supposed to be walking out with my new inner tunic! I'll take some photos of how it will "work" under my outer tunic when I get it... Yorr Kolash = excited

This is probably a dumb question, but why would cutting on the bias help a tight sleeve fit over your hand? Yes, cuting on the bias makes the fabric stretch more so it can be tighter around the wrist but still able to be pulled on over the larger hand.

Have fun, relax, enjoy the process. Good that someone with experience will be near.

I am the proud owner of a full Silk Noil inner tunic. FYI - I'm having a little trouble with the sleeves (they should be bunching up around the wrists), but here are some photos of it as a stand-alone shirt. I get to test it out this weekend. I think it looks and feels great. -Kyle

For the sleaves, you should be able to fix that simply by having the first 8- inches or so tapered more and having the sleave be tight around your hand while the thumb is tucked under your hand Looks pretty snazzy

It's a nice fit - actually it's my first custom made item of clothing ever. I've got the sleeves safety-pinned for the mall walk this weekend. I don't know how I feel about the snap at the collar - it will probably show up a little too much, but we'll see!

Ok....old question ,I'm sure, but the Founder needs your help. I'm trying to redo my undertunic for DragonCon. My current one is basically a cheater undertunic-a white shortsleeve shirt with dyed brown crinkle cotton rucked sleeves and a cotton dickie for the neck. I need to have a close match to Obi-Wan Kenobi ROTS for my new one. I have a darker brown crinkle cotton material I would like to use and I want to get away from a cheater dickie if possible. Can anyone give some advice to a Bald headed Jedi in need?

Thanks Kai! I have no problem with rucked sleeves, but I need to recreate the neckline.
