That's an option too. Sometimes I'll make obi and tabbords sets or two differant colours but both cna go with the tunic.

I sure hope that olive green is acceptable, because that's what I got for the obi. For the rest I am using a standard cream/beige color.

Thanks, I feel better now. I was getting worried there for a minute.
Actually, the tabbards are also olive green. It's a dark olive, not light. It's pretty much a cross between dark green and brown-ish.

I've taken gray fabric (cotton) and washed it with brown dye to get a nice dryer-lint brown color. A very wide range of browns are acceptable. If in doubt, you could use brown dye and it will likely look fine.

One of my favourite tunics is a khaki colour that I refer to as yuck, but I like it better since I started wearing it with dark brown tabbards and obi.

Good discussion and great drawings! I do have a khaki tunic and tabbards w/ obi (as in the greyish olive green khaki, not the tan, it's not a true khaki green, I call it the "yuck" colour, and often threaten to throw it in a brown dye) but I also wear that tunic w/ dark brown tabbards & obi and like it better that way. Any acceptable colour or fabric may be worn with any other in combination. Glad to see this color "Khaki" discussed -- my undertunic is khaki with the greenish tone but it's not overly green or dark. But to go with it I found a pair of Dockers in sort of an indescribable medium to medium-dark khaki (maybe "olive drab") -- they're sort of brown/grey/olive/khaki/who-knows -- that's why I call that color indescribable. They look good with the undertunic fabric, but if they're not OK, I can just wear the standard beige. (Outer tunic, etc., will be a medium beige/brown/cafe-au-lait -- can't remember the name of the color on the bolt.) Yes, the khaki is a "yuck" color, but it's very popular this year, and I can actually wear it! (olive skin) OK, I may be Jedi, but I'm still a girl.... It looks like Bultar (sp?) Swan's ensemble might be based on this odd color. Feedback?

Yeah, I think Swan's outfit is khaki underneath (I'm going by memory though). 'Khaki' is a range of colors to me, not necessarily greenish, but definitely shades of light tan in color. I really think it photographs better than lighter colors. Ivory and off white are nice for tunics, but often photograph as bright white. Khaki has darker shadows and often just looks like it has more texture.

I was going thru my Jedi tunics etc recently and came across 1 that I made for CIII, in the yuck colour and styled like Jocasta Nu's, I wore it the once, then packed it and forgot it. I think it's a very acceptable colour.

Well, if the Council just hates my khakis, I can always do a "tea-dye" bath to tone done the color of any offending piece. (Dritz makes a fake/commercial tea dye, which is available on Amazon.) But I hope and trust they won't hate them. And you're right, I didn't even think about the darker (to a point) colors photographing better! Hmmmm
