Yeah my inner tunic is sleeveless also. I sweat just 'way too much! As if three heavy layers isn't enough to keep a Jedi warm in rooms with thousands of beings in them

I don't to the inner tunic thing. For summer wear, I just wear a brown or tan V-neck T-shirt, to be cool.
In winter, I wear a brown or ivory turtle neck, and this way I achieve different looks with my costume, too.

It depends on which of my tunics or robes I am wearing, as each of them is different and some have this & some have the other. I have under tunics, and turtlenecks, and skirts and pants and leggings that go under them, and of course the one with the cheaters under it as well, which can be worn with any or all of the aforementioned stuff, depending on look & weather.

Same for me too. I wear my under tunic in al sorts fo weather because it is so thin and light weight. (Cotton gauze.) I also have a lot of differant things to mix and match withthe tunics. Leggings, skirts, a dress.:-)

i really love the layered look, however some of us are hotblooded. the outer robe is pretty heavy and although mine is brushed cotton denim, its still a bit warm. this is good on cool days and nights, but not on warm ones. i decided to make my inner and outer tunics one piece. the only part that really needs to show is at the neck. i simply had my seamstress [thank you sabrina] make a second collar and sew it under the first one. i choose a contrasting color for my beige outer tunic, a dark choc brown. i also have a second tunic set made of that color. when she has time [after renfaire] she will put in a beige undertunic collar for contrast. this will allow me to mix and match several outfits. beige tunic, obi, tabbards and leggings. beige tunic with brown leggings. beige tunic and leggings with brown tabbards and obi and so on. the only thing i need to do is to have pleather tabbards made. then i can use those with either tunic.

Zhi, That sounds like a cool idea. I hope you'll snap pics so we all cna see it.
On the fake cheater sleeves. I'd made some and attached them to a tunic's sleeves(Under tunic) since it hadn't that bunchie look at the wrists.
Now I need to hunt down some dye so I cna dye some to match my brown under tunic.:-)
