I get called that too, the name is synonomous with Jedi in the mind of the public.

I know there are websites that offer "free business cards" with shipping and handling... I also dont know exactly where to post this...as I am new...but there is a convention happening at the Hilton in Carol Stream...I have misplaced the site that I had perused...but will TJA be attending that event? I believe 501 will be there...might be a good place to recruit!

Free business cards on these websites in a misnomer. There are limited designs and nothing custom. And then some of them put their own advertising on the backs of them as well (a few are REALLY blatant about it).
But right now I have plenty of business cards and other propaganda. If anyone is going to a Cona nd would like to hand out to other Jedi they see walking along, or place it on the tables they usually have for leaflets, please let me know and I will get it mailed out to you!

i could start looking up how to make your own cards and could either tell you how to or buy some of the special paper and print it out myself..

apfoister.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=JCChambers&action=display&thread=2330 Assembly Crest, Flyers, Business Cards Oct 22, 2004 Greetings all! I need to make a statement regarding our Assembly crest, Assembly flyers, and or Assembly business cards. Much time has gone into designing the above mentioned items. We have even gotten a go ahead from LucasFilm Licensing specifically for our group to use our crest on shirts and the like. We have to include a Trademark notation from LFL below the image when we do use it. We have to be very careful how we distribute said image and how it is used. I must state that under no circumstances is our Assembly crest to be modified or used for any purpose without express consent from either myself (Tanthos Jorlac) [who is the founder of TJA and the CO at the time of this writing] or another member of the Jedi Council. All flyers or biz cards will be made and distributed by Council members ONLY. Discovery of Assembly items being distributed without approval from the council will result in disciplinary action. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any council member. That said, I do make cards for members....but only for full members. Message board members will not be able to see this thread: apfoister.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=merchandise&action=display&thread=4527

RL has really changed their code recently. They are getting stricter it seems. I heard from multiple sources at C5 that even their "generic Jedi" has really strict limits...like tabbards cannot go below the obi in the back (uh, look at Qui-Gon...his tabbards were long in back) and their colors are getting stricter too As an RL Jedi LCJ, I can tell you that the tabard length is not an issue, color is, among other details. Anyone is welcome to submit an EU character, but must have sufficient references.

edited above post
I apologize if I offended anyone. I did not mean to. All I was doing was repeating what I had heard from people at C5 who are not members here nor at RL but were investigating

No offence taken. I just want everyone to be informed about the standards.
