Firstoff: This week's (Nov. 1-6) episode will be shown on WEDNESDAY night at 8:00 p.m eastern on Cartoon Network. "Landing at Point Rain" preview www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JrappODE5MFirst thing that catches me is that the first 5 seconds looks FANTATSTIC...their CGI is getting so much better The second thing that gets me is Obi-Wan saying "There's no where else to go..." ...wait ... the scene shows a huge desert...fly a few more clicks and set down there (I'm sure the real epsiode will show why this probably cannot happen tho)

The episode itself was great, one of my favorites from the whole series. But I agree there were some... flaws.

I know this is an old thread, but it seems the most relevant for asking this question...Does anyone know why they never aired the sixth and final season of Clone Wars? I know they're going to air them on Netflix soon, but I never knew that they hadn't aired them yet at all, so I was just curious. Was it affected by the whole Disney affair...?

Aaaaaaaah, but they WILL be airing the sixth season of The Clone Wars. Just not in the usual place.
The sixth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will stream on Netflix, March 2014, in just about 3 weeks.

I get Netflix, but by disk through the mail. I really don't want to deal with the streaming, so I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD. I'd get the disks anyway because you get extras with them.
The show was cancelled when Disney took over -- they wanted to do other animated things with SW. I didn't particularly mind since there is only so much you can do with The Clone Wars because it's a limited amount of time between AOTC and ROTS, but they can now wrap up Ahsoka's story. Notice that now she's not in the Jedi Order, she has a good chance of surviving Order 66. I would LOVE to see her in SW VII.

I see! I agree about the timeline issue...It's so tragic watching it, because in the back of my head, I'm CONSTANTLY reminded of how it ends! Episode III comes along, and this all ends badly...tragic. For me, really, the best thing about The Clone Wars is getting to hear what Kit Fisto's voice sounds like. He's by and far my favorite, and if I were to ever cosplay a specific character, it would be him. Watching all of the clone troopers interacting with the Jedi generals also makes me incredibly sad. We get to know the clones, we get empathize with them, and while war stories aren't my cup of tea, it's really interesting to see how they bond...that is, until you realize that with a flip of the switch, these guys are all going to spin around and slaughter the very generals they've learned to respect and follow with courage and loyalty! GYAAAHHH!!!
...it's all too much for me....
...But, like you said, there's Ahsoka's possible future as a bright spot!

Why so quiet over here? (This post contains CW Season 6 Spoilers) I just watched Sacrifice, the final Clone Wars episode. Wow! I don't know where to start. I love the Yoda/Qui-Gon arc. Qui-Gon was my first favorite character, and is still in my top three. I was confused and thrilled when Yoda said he "found the path to immortality" in Ep.III, and Voices more than makes up for not putting him in ROTS. This arc reflected my ideas about the Force and immortality far more than the books have done. I just wish I could get a transcript for the immortal being's dialogue, it was hard to understand.
I agree with those of you who can't forget Ep.III's evilness while watching CW. It makes for a disturbing experience, even, or especially, when the story is a triumphant one. Nothing could make me "okay" with the events of Revenge of the Sith, but Sacrifice came as close as I'll ever get.
Ahsoka! It broke my heart to see her in Yoda's vision, but also gave me hope. When she says, "can I still become a Jedi, can I still become one with the Force?" it gives me hope that she will still seek the Jedi path instead of falling into darkness and despair. Can Qui-Gon please, please teach her to be immortal? I wouldn't have supported that idea some months ago, but it feels "right" now. I believe she could have an important role to play, and I think it would be a big mistake not to put her in Rebels. Here's to Ahsoka and Qui-Gon getting into Rebels!!
