misslizz.deviantart.com/art/Costume-concept-plans-103115207misslizz.deviantart.com/art/Colour-costume-concept-103116465When and if I ever get this thing done, I'll submit it through the proper channels but for now I just want to know what people think. If any of the sewing and costuming masters here have any hints and suggestions on, well, what to do really. If you don't mind, of course. I'm something of a padawan-hopeful at this point. What do ya'll think? For the costume itself, the top link leads to the rough plans and patterns for the pieces (hopefully). The one below is what the colours will be, more or less. I'm going for dark browns and a dark burgundy-like colour for the undertunic. The reddish is based on Plo Koon's tunic in the new Clone Wars cartoon and figure. As is the belt design with a bit of a nod towards Saesee Tiin. The tunic itself is based in pretty equal parts on what can be seen of Eeth Koth's tunic on his action figure, especially the tabards, and Saesee Tiin's armoured look from the "Dreadnaughts of Rendili" story in Star Wars Clone Wars Volume 6. Hence the pauldrons and bracers. Um, any help or anything would be greatly appreciated. Could this possibly make it as an authorized outfit for the Jedi Assembly? I could dig up more documention, I think. Could try, anyway. At the very least, I'll have an outfit to call my own. Thanks for any help, criticisms, suggestions, etc. Elith

The colored drawing makes it much more understandable. Normally, one can't actually trust the color of action figures. However, if you have screen captures or something from the cartoon series, that would be good "documentation" for the costume.

Hm, don't have any screen shots at the moment, but they should be fairly easy to find. I think. Hopefully.

I agree, armour and accepted colours are fine, and can open up a new and enticing look for newer members as long as it's well done.

Yay. Though I hope I can make it well enough. Sewing is not a strong suit, I am learning. Would be horrible to put so much work into something only to have it fall apart the moment you look at it funny.
