Well I got my Anakin Force FX saber today in the mail... so heres my two cents! This is my first FX saber, and I have to say that its pretty good. The only things that were a bit disappointing were the blade (thought it would be a bit brighter) and the sound. The motion sensor is pretty laggy when you swing it around at even a moderate speed. I swung it around a few times then held it still and the swinging sound came about a second later. The sound is also very tinny, and you really have to smack the blade hard against something to get the clash sound (which I don't want to do ). The size of the saber is pretty good, I've heard people saying its too big, but compared to my graflex Ani replica its only a little bit longer - and I prefer the look of the longer grips anyway. The hilt is weighted very well, and it does feel like metal. Overall, its a very nice saber. Its pretty d**n accurate and does everything its supposed to, but I don't think I'm gonna buy another FX saber anytime soon. Oh and the up/down activation effect is d**n cool.

Are you sure the batteries are strong enough? I didn't find any of that with mine... It's pretty quick, and it doesn't take much of a tap to get the clash sound.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that it might be the batteries. I'm gonna go buy a set of better quality ones today

Batteries make a big difference when it come to the MR sabers. The sound can lag, the brightness/color, sound effects can all become problems when your batteries are low. If you don't buy expensive one time use batteries you can always get rechargeable batteries that way you never have to buy more just recharge them. Though it will cost you about $10-15 bucks to get enough batteries and a charger(but they come in a set).
