Obi episod 3, alot more than the episode 4 one... I like the gold and the circuit board. Next would be Luke's rotj stunt version, which wasnt on the poll. I don't like his hero version very much heh My own saber is a cross between lukes rotj stunt and obi's episode 3... I just love that style.

My favorite saber is Obi-Wan's (TPM/ATOC). Qui-Gon's is a very close second, because it is so streamlined and elegant, it is almost minimalist. However, Obi-Wan's is my favorite because it is elegant and decorative, without going to the excesses of Master Windu's saber It is also clear from the design, that there are elements taken from his Master's saber. Both my first metal saber and my current (and hopefully final) saber have design elements taken from Obi-Wan's saber, in the same respectful manner of a padawan constructing their saber to resemble that of their Master. My First Saber: My Current Saber: Ewan McGregor has been my favorite actor for over a decade, and has never played the same type of character more than once, even his portrayal of Obi-Wan was slightly different (to show his relationships/status to others) in each film. Seda, your saber looks fantastic, was it machined for you, or do you have access to metalworking tools? I take it you have the covertec clip on that side of the saber so when it's drawn, it rotates the activation matrix in line with your thumb?

My saber was machined, but I added the extra parts. The placement of the knob is designed so that when I draw with my right hand, the activation box is in line with my thumb (like you said) and also so that it doesnt get in the way of my palm when I'm holding the saber one handed. That knob is pretty chunky

Ahh, using a cross body draw, that makes sense I take it your left hand then grips the upper section?

Heh nope (I think we've had this discussion before? lol). When I draw it, my thumb is instantly over the activator for ignition, and then my right hand slips the saber down so that my right palm is on the upper grip section, and my left hand grabs around the pommel... its really alot more difficult to explain than it is to do ;D I do cross draw though

Ahh yes, I remember now ;D I draw with my left hand, so my thumb is also instantly over the activator, but I then grip my right hand above that. Being ambidextrous, if I want to use the saber one handed (to gain the Form II precision through the lower grip) I can either keep hold of it in my left hand, or simply shift my right grip as you do, so I'm holding the lower grip with my right hand

Out of the ones I've used/fought with...at least of the toys, I'd say a toss-up between Dooku's and Mace's.
