I read the standards and such, but if I am correct, it does not mention exactly what type of saber is required for acceptance in the TJA.
Can we just have an FX saber? Can we just have a machined hilt?

If you look in the Jedi Code www.thejediassembly.com/jedicode.phpyou can read in section V alinea 4 that all Jedi must have a lightsaber. the first point states so yes, a machined non-functionnal hilt should be accepted. Furthermore, the FX line from Master Replicas is considered as a replica saber, not a toy. Several members of TJA including council members uses those regularly.

That's what I thought. I have the FX's but not a machined hilt yet. I"m having it worked on in the next couple of months so I should be good to G.O.!!!

A Master Replicas saber will do for membership. A hardware saber, with or without a blade will do also. We just don't want a plastic toy.
