I've never seen a silver Acrylic blade, the only thing I can thing of is to make your own but I've only heard about doing that I 've never done it.

i play KOTOR, KOTOR II alot, infact my brother is playing KOTOR II now, and I like the silver blades alot, but my favorite are the bronze ones because it's almost red yet orange. and I'm going to be 16 in december, and I know how you feel.

I'm not sure how well this would work, but a clear acrylic blade with a very light dusting of silver spraypaint might do the job.

Uendo, you posted in the thread about PVC blades, did you read Loreen's post about how she made a siler blade using polycarbonate tube? I think that would be your best bet, this way you can spar with it as well without the fear of it shattering.

That's a question for Krylon... does it say anything about acrylic on the can? What's the solvent?

thanks for the info i used that trick for a few things i guess i just never tried it for crystals

I don't even remember where that post it about my silver blade.
I basically took a polycarbonate tube and got a wooden dowel a little smaller than the inside diameter, wrapped some silver prismatic ribbon around it and inserted it.
As for an EL blade, the white wire looks kind of silvery when lit up. I have made one for a friend, I'll have to take a pic while I still have it.
Oh, and by the way, that's the Fusion paint that Krylon makes for plastics. It should work on acrylic too. I have used the black and it works well on PVC.

randomsabers is selling carbon blades with a diamond pattern that are rather silver looking.......take a look randomsabers.com/blades.htm

Those carbon fiber blades are going to be expensive. Probably not within the means of a teenager.
