Well, I've read on how to set up the EL blades for a lightsaber, but now I'm trying to figure out how exactly you set up the hilt to receive the blade.

Hmmm....ok. I was wondering how to seat the blades as most of the hilts I've done I ended up using a threaded female adapter for copper tubing. (Mostly so I could thread a dueling blade on). Looking over a few diagrams it kinda answers my question about why the "industry standard" was 40 inches for a blade that I thought was normally 36 inches. ;D

Yay for Stryudr! He has a great tutorial, very cheap. If your saber is fairly simple go to www.onlinemetals.com. Small quantities of various metal pipes. I'm ordering some aluminum off of there for a Plo Koon lightsaber for a customer.
