I have a Ion saber from a while ago, and my EL blade broke. I need a new blade for the thing, preferably a Green one. The thing runs on a 9V battery and has the usualy stereo plug thing. I'm not sure a Parksaber blade will fit directly. For now I'm a jedi without a saber.
Also I recently bought a Qui Gon Jinn hilt, I'm interested in putting a EL kit in it, but the hold is only about 3/4" x 1 1/2" deep. I'm guessing I would have to drill into it a little, but I have no skills what so ever for metal working.
If anyone has any ideas feel free to email me at Tigerantilles@juno.com Thank you for your help.

I'd suggest making sure you know exactly what type of stereo plug you have on the broken blade. Take it into your local electronics store or store department and show what you have and find out exactly what size it is. Then call Parks and ask him if that's what he uses.
Is the Qui-Gon hilt solid metal? I don't know what you could do with it short of getting someone with metal-working tools if it is. 1 1/2" doesn't sound deep enough to do anything with.

The guiggy stick is solid. I reckon I may have to have someone bore it out a bit. What's the usual dimension needed for an el kit?
