I'm currently in the process of starting up a small propsaber business, making at first, solid one piece aircraft aluminum prop hilts. After I see how the sales of these first run hilts go I will decide if we are going to do bladed sabers with electronics. Our first hilt will be a based on the Ep 6 Luke Skywalker hero model. They will not be exact copies and will differ slightly in appearance as we don't want to step on anyones' copyright toes. I will be posting some pictures of the first saber as it comes off the machine. Just wanted to gage the reaction to making these and see if any interest is existing in the community for a belt wearable, affordable saber with many other designs as well, on the table for further development. I have exclusive access to a machine shop with cnc, lathes, and all the other wonderful tools that come with being involved with a machine shop the way I am. I have been friends with the owner for 20 years and his business has been running just as long, so making these sabers on a continuous basis is not an issue. The first run will be of 12 sabers and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. We won't ever have to deal with 2 year back orders as we are more than capable of putting out a dozen a day if we wanted.
The first prototype should be ready for pics very soon.

Here's a couple of designs we're doing prototypes of first...keep in mind these are concept drawings and not final blueprints. We're trying to keep the price down to around $175.00 - $200.00 With 20% discounts for Jedi Assembly members of course!

There are many ways to learn the ways of the Force, but only those who have joined it may know best.

Someday...plan on making curved hilt sabers?
I know Ryan said he wouldn't, then turned out a couple of beautiful ones before he stopped taking orders.
(Pun was unintentional...or was it?)
