Im getting ready to send in my designs to random sabers and from what ive heard they can take a while. Is there anyway that i could speed the process up and get it faster? Im just going to have a simple saber nothing fancy, hoping that will help.

Of course, I know someone on these boards who paid another $25 to have the order rushed. I realize this is additional money, but from what I have seen, and from my dealings with them so far, it is well worth it.

I'm in the design process myself. I'm working on a "dress" saber for my canon costume. I think we're in the semi final stage of the design.

I'm waiting on a price quote and I think they must be quite busy. What I"m wanting is a fully loaded junior sized hilt based on my hardware saber as I'm petite so have small hands and I've told them what I wanted but they haven't got back to me yet.

I found that sending the e-mail with both delivery and read reciept requested got better responses. Ryan IS very busy and I guess the pop-up reciept window got his attention and he took the time to answer..........

I'm on line for one Schism hilt and 36" blue acrylic blade. Should be getting around July-Aug.

Does anyone know if Ryan will custom make parts for sabers, or just the entire things? I've decided I need a delrin pommel like Obi-Wan's TPM/AotC saber but without the silver cubes for my new saber, and wondered if he would make the part on its own?

not sure. Can't hurt to ask especially since it would be quicker than a whole saber.

That's what I was thinking, after all, it'd still be a case of paying for the labor and materials, plus as you say, it'd be a quicker turn around than a whole saber, I'll have to wait and see what Ryan says

I tried logging on to RS tonight and received a page that said Randomsabers.Com is currently unavailable. Any idea what is going on?

I would also like to add in that I am waiting on a saber from Ryan, and I also got one in one of his yard sales he has had on the Forums, and they are kind of heavy, and well balanced
