This is the saber I've made for my fiance. It's not 100% finished yet as I need to get a bubble display for the activator, and then glue it all together (it's just test-fitted here) It's essentially a scaled-down version of Quinlan Vos' saber. (I'm not sure what color blade she'll want )

That's awesome! That design is beautiful. I love the black.

Thanks I really can't take credit for the design, as it's a scaled-down version of Quinlan Vos' saber, but as saber designs go, it's certainly one of the more elegant ones The black sections are (left to right) a resin 'foot' from an office table leg, flexible resin pipe from a plumbing kit (one piece for the entire upper grip section, but revealed through the two 'vents') and the end cap is the top of a .35mm film pot Once I've tidied the cuts on the vents, I'll repost the photo. (She's since decided she'll have a blue blade:D)

Where are you gonna put the bubble display? I actually really like this saber design, quite nice, and the workmanship on your interpretation looks very good indeed

I was going to put the bubble display along the solid strip at the back of the lower cut out section, so it will be touchable by the thumb of the lower hand. Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out given the tools I had to work with, the rings on the lower grip, for example, were etched freehand (but following a line)with a dremel. I'm now in the process of making a saber for my fiance's stepsister, which should be equally challenging, for reasons that will soon become clear

Looks nice. One of the several interpretations (or maybe incarnations?) of his saber.
The only criticism I have is that it looks like the emitter needs to be stabilized somewhat. It looks a bit tilted, to me.

Thanks, yes, it was one of the interpretations that appears most in the graphic novels Hee hee, the emitter was only test-fitted, it's since been glued into place, so no more tilting

Ok, good, then.

Hee hee, that's the problem with test-fitting, I would upload a new photo of it, but I still need the bubble display activator, but as soon as it comes through, I'll be posting one. The really funny thing is I've since made another saber for my fiance's step-sister, but my fiance has decided that she prefers that to the one I made for her

Thanks When I first saw the design, I knew I had to try and recreate it It's slightly too small for me to hold comfortably because it's scaled down for my fiance, but it's still one of my favorite sabers
