I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of parts Obi Wans saber (in a New Hope) needed, and where I could pick up everything. I've heard there is a grenade or something in it, could anyone come up with a substitute?
I have already purchased a lightsaber, and I want to create my own now for display of my "uber jedi skills."
May the force be with you all, Martorius

If you go back to the hilts section and look at the thread "Howto build cheap kenobi saber.?" I give a list of supplies needed to make an Obi saber, while keeping your eye on a budget. The kits that Saberbelt is bulk ordering are more accurate, but if you aren't looking for a perfect replica, the parts I suggest will get you pretty close. As far as the grenade goes, that is what I have the washers (metal, alternating with rubber) in the list for . I will try to get around to a tutorial soon.

Park Sabers is a fortune in Canadian dollars though. That guide is helpful, Pet-Cr but it dosen't go into detail about how to get some of the stuff. I'm checking out your post Tobbok, i'll edit when I look at it Thanks.

Just looked it up - $75 US Dollars equals $95.11 Canadian Dollars
Just another option for you - I am working the bulk order still
