Without a doubt, Dooku's lightsaber is one of the coolest designs and one of the hardest to duplicate. I've seen a few "bent" designs that were really cool. So when I found an old broken sweeper with a 1 3/8" dia bent pipe handle on it, I grabbed my dremel tool and started cutting. All in all, i think it came out pretty nice. I turned the emitter out of wood on my lathe. But since then, I've found that nylon bar stock works even better. So I'm reworking the emitter. It's a nice saber, light weight and very easy to handle. I was very happy with the way it came out. Please let me know what you think.

Really nice... I like it. I like the look of the wire on the outside. That's different!

That's excellent I've decided that my next saber is going to have a curved handle too, I'm just in the process of gathering the necessary components

I had done a sketch of one I was going to assemble for a fan film I was working on. - characterfiles.homestead.com/files/Solinbeb_Saber.jpgI finished the saber last week...then it attemtped breaking on me Thursday during my mad dash to the car to get to CIII...it caught on my cardoor and pulled it free from my belt hit the street, knocking the end piece off. Thanks to a mad dash to Walmart for some epoxi, I had it at least held back together before getting in line. When I get home, I'll work on a cleaner version and post a piclink of the original.
