Can anyone help me to build one of the sabers pictured below from found hardware? Someone pointed me in the direction of a Park's Radiator for $30, but that's a bit out of my league cash-wise.

Go to home depot, find an 8 to 12 inch steel tube, look at sink faucet knobs for the end cap. For the steel rings, you can either find steel rings that just fit around the tube, then weld or liquidnail them in place, or you can wrap thick-guage steel wire in a spiral if thats ok for you and weld or liquidnail that in place. Remember that pipe fittings work wonders.

I would use a shower head for the Pomel, Check Lowes - Economy Shower Head #24503
The 1 1/2 sink tube ...
I would use 1 1/2" Slip Joint Poly Washers for the ridges on the body and look for washers the with an 1 1/2 opening for the heat sink on the emitter.
Hope this helps.

The 3" or so by the emitter looks more shiny than the rest, so I was looking at metal for that and then PVC for the rest. Maybe I can talk the dad (who enjoyed helping me with my first saber) into helping pay for the radiator, and then cut that down to put over a small PVC pipe as my local Lowe's doesn't sell Economy products. That's the pommel down. Now, assorted PVC bits can be found for the main body, but this leaves me to construct the emitter out of metal, shiny pipe. Also, a bit off-topic, but I want to buy a dished Covertec w/ belt socket to put on this for under $8 can someone help?

Yes Jaren... take notes. We still need saber tutorials from members for CIII.
