So who's hilt is this? My friend has it, with a purple blade, but one of my friend says it's Plo Koon's, but my other friends insists that Plo Koon's has a green saber... Here's the pics: ^Hilt^ ^Full Saber^

That was the sabre prop that Mace Windu had for some publicity photos before TPM because his real sabre hadn't been machined yet. They just used a Maul style single blade. Windu's TPM sabre is different from that and his AOTC sabre is different still. I guess we'll see soon enough if he still has the AOTC sabre in ROTS.

Yeah I have heard that about the Publicity thing, I think it's wierd that my friend thinks that it's Plo Koon. It very well could be, i'm just saying it's wierd. EDIT: BWAHAHAHA!!!!!! I found it! www.partsofsw.com/Ep_1/index.htmI found it, and I wasn't even looking!

Plo Koon uses that saber hilt in AOTC along with several other Jedi. It's known as a 'clan saber' along with Ki-Adi-Mundi and Adi Gallia's lightsaber hilts because they are reused by several background Jedi. Check out the AOTC Visual Dictionary for more info.

Alright I got a new one. Now this is my favorite hilt, and I want to make my own in a metal form (see my other thread )

About that other saber, I found another person who uses it, Eeth Koth. The only wierd thing is, he's a Zabrak (at least I think so), and I thought all Zabraks are dark? EDIT: Danakin Skywalker, you gotta be right because this saber keeps popping up everywhere. For example, Jocasta Nu, Stass Allie, and Luminara Unduli uses one, but it's Goldish, it's pretty cool.

Just because Darth Maul is a Zabrak doesn't mean they're all evil. They're a species of beings just like any other character in the SW galaxy.
And that second saber of yours is a repainted Qui-Gon hilt with a different blade color, the un-canon orange in this case.

Ah... what do you mean by un-canon?

Canon means it's something from the films. Orange is not a lightsaber color seen in the Saga so it is not canon.

Yeah that's a totally cool site! Tons of info.... and spoilers too! ;D The www.thelightsaber.com site was *extremely* helpful when I first started rebuilding my old lightsaber hilt. It didn't have the rebuilding info that I needed--that's what the Big Yellow Box was for--but the "anatomy" page really helped when I was trying to figure out what was missing with what I had. Most of the unreal technical details don't show, but it's still so much easier to build when you know what's imagined to be in there. I suppose that might make sense only from an atistic point of view, but it worked for me and my sabers. ;D
