I have been using a dermel for a while to make my lightsaber hilts. I use the cutt off wheels that the guide book recommends, but they keep breaking. Does anyone use any other attatchment to cut their tubing?

I've broken countless cut-off wheels. Sometimes, due to over-tightening when changing cut-off wheels, sometimes due to over-stressing the wheel. When cutting, try to be "gentle", if possible. This will increase wheel life.
Otherwise, I believe there are some more heavy-duty cut off wheels available, but I've not tried those.
Most of my dremel use if for fine detail and experementation. I have access to a full shop, and tend to do most of my cuts with a band-saw and finishing with a belt sander, die-grinder, etc. But I like doing sabers with dremels, to be able to say "yes, you can do it with only a dremel". Great overall tool.

I agree with Kai as i have access to larger tools as well i have the heavier wheel and they last longer also try a slower cutting speed i found helps too if you have your dremmel on 10 the wheel will blow apart much faster I bought a tubing cutter but you still need to tape the area the wheels roll on so as not to scratch the nickel plate on sink tube

your pipe cutter must have metal wheels. mine has hard plastic ones and dosent scratch the finish. you can use the same cutter to cut aluminum and PVC pipe. i also have a mini cutter for small pipes as well. i wouldnt be with out it.......oh yeah...you can use it to cut polycarbonite tubes for lightsaber blades and practice blades.
