That's funny - I looked all over the place, but I couldn't find any hard facts. Inside the worlds of episode I doesn't say, and neither does the starwars.com databank. But both sources call the heat "blistering" so we can guess around 120 degrees.

Oh man that's hot. it'd be a very dry heat, like Arizona or Death valley, or Sahara type. Humm Anakin going from a 120 degree hot ,dry world to COruscant which termed as "coooler then what msot humans are comfortable with." I gather it's a tad chilly. maybe averaging 60's. That'sa a HUGE tempreture change. I'd be freezing my backside off there. I'd waer dark tunics like Anakin too, not for the darkside mess, but to absorb heat from COruscant's sun so I could be warm.

Reading "Tatooine Ghost" really gave me a new perspective of the climate on Tatooine.....sounds like a very savage environment...

Yeah.I need to borrow the bookand read it. Also the one about the two Jedi healers. If anything for referance material.
Tattoine sounds like a VERY unpleasent palce to live. I bet the inhabitants sleep in the middle of the day and only venture out in early morning before second dawn and evenings.
Dry heat doesn't 'feel' hot but BOY does one dehydraite quickly in it.

No beach for me. I'm a workin'! Plus the beach ain't my idea of fun. I hate the sand, the sun............ I like trees and fresh water.

ahhh!!! the beach ;D me and my wife went to carolina beach last year for our 5 year anniversay. it had been around 15 years since i had been to a beach last and that was myrtle beach in 1989 and that wasnt my idea of a fun place. now carolina beach was a world apart from myrtle and i/we had a great time. it wasnt overly crowded and since there wasnt a pavilion around, there was no wild kids/teens there ;D we ended up staying at a condo right on the beach so at night we would leave the patio sliding door open and listen to the waves crash (we was up about 3 stories, so the only one who could break in the open door was spiderman). to tell the truth i had so much fun there and loved the family atmosphere, we are thinking about moving down there. we are hoping to be able to make it back there this year but will have to wait and see. l just posted some of the pics we took in my yahoo photos if anyone is interested f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ravenreturns1/album?.dir=/b4e5
