While the boots with the straps look nice, I am so very glad that Obi-Wan was wearing plain, brown boots in ROTS. And Ki Adi Mundi wore suede boots. That opens up a lot more variety for Jedi boots.
Well Obi-Wan actually still had Spats in ROTS, and had one strap at the ankles. So whereas is was more plain, it was basicaly the same as what he wore in TPM and AOTC, just minus teh top straps and the spat trimmed flush with the top of the boot.

SO make sure I leave like an inch to tuck the pants in correct? Man this all seems a bit complicated..

SO make sure I leave like an inch to tuck the pants in correct? Man this all seems a bit complicated.. Ware the pants you will have on while measuring ... In my experience you need to tuck in 3 to 4 inch in pant to keep them from riding out of the boot while walking, kneeling etc. Some have found to put a stirrup on the pants legs to keep them in place.

Aaah!!! I missed those straps at the CIII costume display. Well, mostly plain boots. Maybe I need to look into the spats thing after all.
