I wear a size 14 4E (yep 4E, because anything else would be just too darned easy). Aside from motorcowboy does anyone have any ideas of where I can get a good set of Jedi boots (preferably Qui Gon)?

Wow it I thought I had the biggest foot here! I'm a size 13 and it has been near impossible for me to find a good pair of boots. I can't understand why the only sizes around are 9 and under I mean, we cant be the only ones with big feet

1) buy really big althletic socks. 2) buy a few novelty wigs. 3) cut wigs and sew/glue to socks. 4) be a Wookie-Jedi (no boots required)

Wow... that's the size my dad wears... and my son is 13 4E. Not far behind! What I'd suggest is to look where you normally buy shoes. The Big and Tall mens shop has boots in 14 4E... then you could have custom extentions made. Nova Darklighter had beautiful extentions made for her boots. She can give you the name of the guy that did them. I can't recall at the moment. Also try www.sportsmansguide.com/I have seen some 14 4E shoes there... not sure what styles, but I did buy a pair of boots for my son there. I'll look for the link. Here it is: these are my son's boots but they are a bit narrow for him... only a 2E. Need to be broken in I think: www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=125374And here's what a browse for your size gave me: www.sportsmansguide.com/browse/browse.asp?s=&b=&z=628&c=11&p=s&search=GO&bt=NIn fact... here's a style that could be made into a boot pretty easily. www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=202308

Now I like the idea of Wookie Jedi, I suppose I just need to let the beard go untrimmed for awhile, and forgo a haircut for 6 months or so. Then I'll start growling and see how that works out. If I werent 6'5" I'd say Hobbit Jedi would be easier.
As far as the custom boots go, I can get a pair of Qui Gon boots made for $390+shipping. Now my custom made EL Qui Gon Saber only cost $375 including shipping. ON PRINCIPLE ALONE, I have issues paying more for boots than a lightsaber. For now I have a pair of Gortex Wolverines (which I traveled halfway across the US to get). I do believe they will have to do until I can drop $400 on a pair of boots without flinching.

It's a bit late, but have you tried any equestrian suppliers? My boots are actually showjumping boots and didn't cost much at all (especially when purchased at an event rather than a store)

Yep, checked a few, cant find any equestrian supply places that carry 14 4e. Found one that had 14, but not 14 4E.

ok if you're sill looking for a pair of oversized Jedi boots here's what I can do. I got my Jedi boots custom made for around $120. I'm a size 9 so I'm thinking yours can't be more then $150-$180. Shipping from me to you should be around $50 tops. Lets take the high end and make it $230 for a pair of custom boots shipped. What do you say to that?
Mind you it won't be made of top-notch super soft leather but a cheaper, thicker and harder leather, which in my opinion is what boots should be made from anyway...
I'll take some pics of my boots and post here as soon as I can arrange some spare time to set them up to take some nice pics...
