Has anyone purchased a pair of these boots? They look great on the web page, and the price is very reasonable. How do they look up-close?
Also, how comfortable are they, and how much freedom of movement do they offer? I'd like to be able to battle the occasional Sith while wearing my costume, so the more comfortable and less restrictive my footwear is, the better. ;D

The Outworld boots are Museum Replicas' boots. I am also a dealer for these. They look good but there are two problems with the construction, first, they are too tight in the lower calf area, they are made too narrow from the ankle to where the calf begins. Unless you have very skinny legs they don't work well. The other problem area is in the height, they will come all the way up to the back of the knee and once again unless you have very skinny and long legs from foot to knee when you sit down they will hit the back of your knee and be very uncomfortable. My recommendation is that if you have skinny long legs with not much calf circumference then they will work and are a great deal while looking good. If your legs don't match that description then by pass these and keep looking. Good luck and hope the info helps.

I don't think there is any definite number assigned to "skinny". But narrow calves have eliminated perfectly good looking boots for some people because they're just too small in that part of the leg.

I just bought a pair of brown knee high boots from www.widewidths.com. I have very wide calves, unfortunately, but these boots fit me, for the 1st time I might add, great. They're not as pricey as the costum made boots, but they are not super cheap either. This is a site for women sizes only.

I just made a new thread with my comments on these boots. I can't figure out how to post pics.

Today I received my Outlander boots from By The Sword. This is a very nice pair of boots. They are styled after Qui Gon Jinns boots but with one subtle difference. The multiple straps across the front are sewn on on both the right and left sides. They are not adjustable. However the boots fit me very well. I ordered a size 13 and they are a little big even for my long feet. If the rest of the sizes fit this way do not be afraid to order your normal shoe size.
