I am so excited I just got the shipping number on my boots from Motorcowboy. I have talked to a bunch of people about them and am really excited. However I cant believe how long these took. Its been nearly two months! Just something to think about.

Hhhhmmm.... it took that long for your boots, what kind did you order? I bought the Anakin boots and it took roughly 2 weeks and I received them. Motorcowboy's the best.

I just recieved my Motor Cowboy Obi Wan Ep II boots a few weeks ago and I was VERY pleased. I got 'em about 6 weeks after I sent him my mesurments. Which boots did you get, if you don't mind my asking? (( Oh hehe, I was thinking about going Stormtrooper for my next costume, but with my frame It'll prolly be easier to go Scout Trooper... hehe ))

Well speaking of boots, after much aggravation and many tries, mine are almost really Jedi boots. So, 1st I bought a pair of short boots, good with the long robe, but not for the shorter tunics. Finally in the fall I found another pair of shin high lt brown plain boots, but it took me and 2 others to get them on past my instep. So, 1st, I had them stretched, then I got in zippers, still a struggle. Last week I took them to a different guy, I said, well I want the instep really streched up, OK! Then I said, can you add an extension to the top, with a couple of buckles, OK, he said sure, no problem, well, they were supposed to be ready on Weds., they weren't, I did get them today, but he hadn't put on the buckles & straps, well they did go on, and I didn't need 2 other people to help me either, buy now the tops look sort of like cavalier/pirate bucket top boots, inteerresting (not bad) but I said, where's the straps & buckles?, I can do them for later, well I needed to wear them tonight, so I said, I'll bring them back tomorrow & you'll have them for me in the afternoon right, he said ok, so Jedi they'll be tomorrow, and oh yeah, he threw in a dye job for free, they're now a solid dark chocolate brown, I do like the colour, and there is lots of room to tuck in pants as well. Just need that last finishing touch, the straps & buckles! And Oh yeah, they were always pretty comfortable before the strech job, now they're pretty good even after several hours standing at a concert. The real test, this weekend at ICON. Well, this morning I decided I didn't want him to rush the straps & buckles, so I stopped in & told him I'll bring them by on Mon. and then he could do them without rushing, he really appreciated this. So, I'll wear them at ICon this weekend as they are, but then if they need more anything strectched or whatever, I'll know what & where. And oh yeah, the $20 I spent on the good cushioned insoles was definitly good for long term standing. DO IT BEFORE CIII< your feet will appreciate you for it! ;D

I finally got my boots yesterday. I got the Qui-Jon boots. Let me just say how cool. I feel like my jedi costume is now complete you know? I dont know they where that last thing I needed to bring it all together. Although one thought I had was maybe putting stirups on my pants so its easier to take on and off my jedi boots with tucking in the pants and such.
The boots are beautiful.
Nova, I ordered X-wing stuff from a really well known source. And I would be surprised if I got it before the premiere.
