Thanks!

What Karm uses is girls' motorcycle boots from Wal-Mart. Go figure I couldn't find a boys motorcycle-type boot. They had a heart hanging from the zipper, but I pulled that off and took a black permanent marker and darkened in all the threading that showed white. They are black, but they look good since they have a strap over the arch area. Karm really likes them and uses them when he plays "Sky Captain" also.
Otherwise try a tack store like State Line Tack or Miller's for riding boots

Earlier this year I saw several styles of brown kids boots that would have made really good Jedi boots for kids, they might still have some on clearance about now. Saw some things in Payless as well. Or you can always try The local thrift store. Just make sure that they're comfortable.

i was wanting to write off Goodwill stores completely....they just dont carry any descent boots for men. Then i found a cool buckle or two on ladies shoes for my jedi belt. THEN i was looking around with my buddy and we found a pair of very tall, black leather, women's boots in a small size with no large heel. It is perfect for his nephew's (9yrs old) costume...we just dont tell him they were women's boots. sorry no pics yet.
