I understand. I'm just trying to use what I already have to the best of my ability. I suppose it's probably worth saving up for some good quality leather boots.

It's definitly worth saving for a pair of good boots, but if the boots are really out of you range, very shortly we are getting some inexpensive pleather/vinyl boots in brown in both reg & wide calf, pricewise they will be about $35 so I'll keep us all updated on that.

Yes, saving up for the right pair of boots is definitely the way to go in my opinion. Too many times I have made the mistake of buying cheap boots so that I could rig them to look Jedi, but I never like the end result and so it becomes a waste of money. When I add up all the $ I've spent like that, I could have bought a pair of motorcowboy boots and been happier.
