I would seriously check out Ebay right now. There are some great looking riding boots for sale. Many boots can be either converted into that "Jedi" look with some extra leather or some are even ready to go. Just type in Rididng Boots on Ebay and let your fingers do the walking!

E-bay is still the best source of boots....My Jedi boots were found there....and my new set of black Han Solo boots were also found on e-bay...sometimes it takes months of searching the auctions, but you will eventually find the perfect pair. The best thing about the boots too is that they are already "broken in"...I think that used boots have a lot of character built into them already....and the best part is you can e-mail the person who is selling the boots and get all the measurements you need to make sure they fit. They can measure the circumference around the calf....length of sole ....etc....both of the boots I won on e-bay fit great!
just keep searching...and you can always have a leathermaker (or yourself) add a few "Jedi" touches....

True...it does take time to find the right size...it took me a while too...especially for the Han Solo boots because I wanted Men's boots...and the small sizes for men (I take a men's 6 1/2) are as hard to find as the larger sizes...it took about 5 months...but was worth the wait!
