Well, what did everyone think about the movie? I'm starting this thread a little premature as the movie doesn't start until midnight....about 4 hours 20 minutes.

Yeah, like it needed more action and less kissing/crying stuff? Well, not necesarrily action, but the emotional thing was a little over the top.

Uh... That's not quite what I meant. I know they have to have Luke and Leia in the end, but I thought the love scenes were a little long. Yeah, so they love each other, so they can make it a little kissy. But 10 minute love scenes listening to corny pickup lines is a bit much, don't you think? Especially when they repeat that a number of times. Then again, it may be because I'm a teenager adventure addict, and I can't stand the love stuff.

I am a day late and a dollar short as usual...I finally got to see AOTC...I went both yesterday and today....gotta say LOVED IT!!! Yeah, there were some flaws but..... Gotta love the comic relief of R2 and C3PO, gotta love the chase scene through Courscant....and obviously...HAD TO LOVE the Geonosian battle arena with all those Jedi!!!! AWESOME!!! I decided to make this weekend an all Star Wars weekend...as I said...saw AOTC twice and revisted all the other episodes on VHS and DVD.....can't say I have a favorite anymore. I have decided that I like all of them equally. One of the things that struck me while watching all the Jedi in action is that each of the costumes is subtly different.....so not having the exact color on a costume or the exact boots should not be an issue...all the Jedi had their own personality and dress.
Thanks George...it's one hell of a story!!

I loved epII !!!! The yoda fight scene was so awesome!!! I got to see it at the midnight showing and I was brave enough to wear my costume. There were a couple of other people with jedi costumes, but not as good as mine . I would have had the best costume there except for one person. Someone dressed up as Jengo Fett and looked totally awesome! So I came in at seconde place. As soon as I got to the theater, people were asking to take pictures with me. I thought that was cool. But back to the movie. It was awesome, I loved it, have seen it four times and anyone who has said they didn't like it is a HATER. Period, it was awesome and some people are out just to complain. The movie ruled and I can't wait for EpIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[shadow=purple,left,300]Well, uhm let's see. Overall, AOTC was an A-. The only thing stopping me from giving it an A+ is the ridiculous love scene where Anakin and Padme run, frolic, and roll around in the grass together. And the droid humor was a little much. It kinda seemed like Lucas said, "Here kids! Look droids! Ooops! That one's head fell off! OOPS! Now he has a battle droid head! ISN'T THAT FUNNY?!"I could do without that. All the other drois humor seemed to go with the plot in the previous movies they made. Oh well. The movie made up for it when Palpatine says something suspicious referring to Padme's situation after she's almost killed, and Yoda looks at him like he knows about him.The fight scenes needed to be longer, but I understand where they're coming from since it takes about 20 minutes for ONE frame of lightsaber rotoscoping. I liked the meadow scene!;D It was better than some of the other love scenes. And the hanger duel could have been longer, I agree. I love the lightsaber scenes! Count Dooku was great! He was one of the best things about Ep II.
