Well then don't worry about, there's no need to change the site for one person when its been enjoyed for years by others. I noticed the problem, and figured I would mention it. Obviously this wasn't the most wise thing to do. I think I will quiety roam the forum for awhile and see if the problem persists... I will also use this time to decide if I will be putting together Jedi robes and such to attempt membership. Well don't feel bad about mentioning it... it's always good to know about these sort of problems, and it may be that others have had the same trouble with it and just didn't bring it up. You never know. Hope you decide to join us.... let us know how your costume is coming along!

the background appears to be a simple tiled graphic and should not really give you a problem....I would check the version of Firefox you use as well as the Plug in status for graphics (like Shockwave, etc.) I've noticed some issues with Firefox myself (I use it at home)...there are some switched you can set to accomodate some of them.Check the Firefox site for info on how to use the switches. I think you can clear up this problem...............

I have a pretty nice system and the background image does affect its performance when posting - but I just chose to block images from that server. Actually, I hope that doesn't mess anything else up for me... I too am using Windows 2000 with Mozilla Firefox 1.5 (but it had the same effect on 1.0.7). Personally, it only affects me at the "Post Message" form, so it wasn't really such a big deal to me.
