I finished my robe made from this pattern, it was fairly simple. other than cutting and handling that amount of fabric was tough! I enlarged the hood by cutting the pattern piece into four pieces, lilke the tutorial says... www.thejediassembly.com/tutorials.php?id=ak6I added 5 inches to each space... I was afraid it was too much but it was perfect! In fact, 6 inches wouldn't be too much if you have wide shoulders or are very tall. I ignored the pleats, and cut the bottom edge straight across.I left two inches on each front side NOT gathered, and then gathered the rest of the hood (use machine basting stitches) to fit the neck. I twas a little difficult to cover the seam with the neckband, but it worked out beautifully. I just thought others might find this info useful, since the tutorial doesn't say exactly how much to add. I could probably write more detailed instructions if anyone needs help.
