Awesome robe. One of these days I have to make myself get a good robe.

Most impressive! Did you make the rest of your robes as well? Fantastic work!

Thanks, Seda!
Ki-Vaan: Yep. I do all my own sewing, so I've made all my robes and tunics myself. Thanks for compliments. I appreciate it.

Nice robe, I really like the way it hangs over the rest of the costume. Fantastic job!

Looks really good, looks like the Mace Windu sleeve, but really nice flow to the robe.

Oh, it's a wonderful looking robe. And it looks great with the rest of the costume, too!
A word of advice about storing the robe for long periods of time. Anything that has any stretch to it and is big and heavy and hanging on a hanger can stretch itself out of shape on its own weight. It would be best to store it folded in a drawer or box rather than on a hanger.

Wool, or if you're in a hot climate try a silk noile or a heavy bottom weight type of woven cotton, I use twill a lot, I've also seen some very nice robes in heavy weight brushed cotton flannel (WalMart's has a nice one for about $3.00 a yd) linen but that is prone to wrinkles, most woven natural fibres are good if the weight and drape are good. I have a lt. weight wool flannel and some of the brushed cotton flannel that i'm going to do for myself.
