I found another interesting robe site. www.renstore.com it's a traveller's robe, looks pretty nice, I would just like to know if anyone has ever done business with them, or if they have this robe.

I bought that robe to go with my first costume... I can dig up a pic I think.
Since then I have taken it apart and altered it a bit because there were not enough gathers in the hood for a jedi robe. I also had to let down the hem and the sleeve length. Is had three shoulder tucks two of which I let out, and the hood is oddly gathered at the center seam. That had to be undone also.
This is the robe I was considering dying darker, but I have to look for the right kind of dye... one that can be used with cold water. I haven't gotten around to that yet.

A picture of the robe would be great if you have one Leda.

Ooo... sorry I didn't see your last post... Here's a pic of me wearing it over my oldest costume.... this was a couple of years ago, right before I joined TJA. www.geocities.com/galaxygal_117/costumedetails/renstore-robe.jpgAlso, I just bought the Dressing a Galaxy book with the fabric swatches... and I was surprised to find that the fabric of Obi-Wan's RotS robe is the same weight and texture as this renstore robe, but the renstore's "heather brown" is a much lighter color. As far as doing business with them goes... I've bought many items from them, and never had a problem. I'd say they're reliable.
