The web guy for the International Costumers' Guild posted a not on their list about updating links to other costuming groups and when I checked the site, I noticed that they did have Rebel Legion and 501st and others under Star Wars costuming sites, but not The Jedi Assembly.
Does the Council have a preference about sharing links?
(1) Just send link to the Costumers' Guild web guy. (2) Send a link to the Costumers' Guild web guy and a PM to someone on the Council (who?). (3) Send someone on the Council (who?) the Costumers' Guild web site and web guy's e-mail so you can look at the site first before sharing.
I assume that TJA would reciprocate by putting the ICG link on the TJA page links.

Just a lowly Jedi to be here but I would think exposure was good for the TJA. THose I have mentioned it to, though not into costuming, have thought the TJA a great idea!!

our numbers would probably increase quite a bit if we did. it would be so nice if we could be as large as the 501

Interesting. I don't think we have rules on links. We glad and flattered when we are linked! I will post this to the council and see. Thanks, Ani!

There is a link button designed for such use here on our main site. thejediassembly.com/links.php

Hmmmmm, <scratching head>. So, I could just send the link page to the ICG web guy? But if they wanted TJA to post a link to the ICG page, who would they e-mail? The ICG web page is here. Their media costume links page is here. FYI: there will be 'Meet the ICG' panel at DragonCon at 2:30 on Friday.

I think they'd have to email Anim8r.

Council would have to approve it, and then Anim8r would be notified. He can email Tanthos with the request. It's a nice, no-nonsense site. www.costume.org/

I've known some members in the past , thought about joining once in awhile, went to one of their cons many years ago. Interesting.

see but if they use that link it is open to the public - which means they don't have to ask permission or go through the council (as defined on that same links page) send him the link. if he wants it, he'll take it.
